God Has a Purpose in Your Disappointment
Current Happenings

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick,” says King Solomon.

Proverbs, which Solomon wrote, speak to the human condition, and this one is no exception. We’re all familiar with disappointment. You don’t get invited, you don’t get the promotion or the heartbreak of a break-up is hard to shake.

Every once in a while, an event will unearth emotions that force me to put into practice everything I write about. Do I really believe that God is good? Does He truly have my best in mind? What will...

1.     Oath of Honor is the first book in the Blue Justice series. Why did you decide to write a series based upon a law-enforcement family? I know, it’s crazy, right? I have no background in law enforcement, but it fascinates me. And I just respect so much those who serve like they do, I hope my stories honor them. I was watching Blue Bloods one night and I thought, I want to write a story about a family in law enforcement. So I did. I’m very excited about this new series....

We have the profound honor, as Christians, to bear the Spirit of God within our very hearts. Because His Spirit dwells in us, we are not our own! This should change both how we view and treat our bodies, and also what we use them for.

Christianaudio.com recently sat down with Barnabas Piper to discuss his audiobook, The Curious Christian. The full interview and audio can be found on their blog. Enjoy!

Curiosity is such a childish word, right?

Not so fast. Just because we grow up doesn’t mean we should lose our wonder at the world, or the people around us. When we do, we lose so much because curious is how God made us to be.

Without curiosity a Christian’s life is incomplete. His relationship with God is...

When God paid the price of his Son to purchase his people from sin and guilt and condemnation, it was the ransom for their bodies as well as their souls… Use your body in ways that will show that God is more satisfying, more precious, more to be desired, more glorious than anything the body craves.

This journey started for me with a Korean Christian fellowship at MIT. I came to...

How to Be Busy but in Balance
Current Happenings

You know that famous saying, “Time flies when you’re having fun?” Well, in my experience, that’s just not the case. Time flies regardless of whether I am enjoying myself or not. Like most people, I am always working to accomplish one thing: balance. Don’t get me wrong, work is central to a...
